Rebecca and Matt got married last weekend, and I realized that I hadn’t even blogged their engagement session at Yards Park! Here are a few of my favorites. Can’t wait to show their sweet wedding photos soon!
A few weeks ago I shot a wedding in Virginia with Jim Bearden. One of my favorite parts of the day was in the hotel room, with the bride, Anna, getting ready. She was so calm, with her parents and girlfriends giving their approval each step of the way. Here are my favorite seven shots from that moment – the dress, excitement, anticipation. Beautiful.

Sweet little Baby Peter was only 9 days old when we took these pictures! He joins his three older brothers who absolutely adore him. They pretty much never stopped saying, “I want to hold Baby Peter!!” and if they weren’t the ones holding him, they had to at least touch him or be looking at him. Their parents mainly said “Please don’t poke Baby Peter in the eyes” over and over again. It was hilarious. I laughed my way through the entire session, because these boys are all so adorable, and funny. Peter is so blessed to be coming into a family with so much love and such great brothers who are sure to take care of him whether he wants them to or not!

Ashley and Pete met while they were students at Catholic University, in philosophy class. They asked to do their engagement pictures back on campus, the place where their love began. I love CUA’s campus, the basilica and the grounds. Pete and Ashley are pretty great too, and I am so excited to shoot their wedding this fall in Virginia! Congratulations you two!
