Red Shoes Photography » Colorado and Destination Wedding Photographer

When I put on red shoes in the morning, I know it is going to be a good day. Do you have that one thing that makes you feel pretty, ready to face the day? For me, it is red shoes.

I recently got married in Big Sur, California. It was perfect. I loved going through the experience that my couples have with getting married. I’d love to tell you about it and the things we learned through the wedding planning process!Alison Niles Wedding-17

A little more about me:

I am a terrible dancer. I once made a music video in Iceland. I hate cantaloupe. I love cheese.

I’m obsessed with maps and calendars. I secretly love the circus.

I am constantly planning my next travel adventure.

I have an uncanny sense of smell.

I grew up in Michigan, or as I like to call it, “America’s High Five.”

My first job was teaching swimming at the local YMCA.

I lived in Japan for two years, where I taught English, was the youngest member of the town’s ikebana club, and embarrassed myself on a daily basis.

I’ve lived on both the East Coast and West Coast, and now I am so excited to be living here in the Rockies!

I’m a fantastic trip planner. I love wearing purple dresses, yellow jeans, and big glasses. Traveling by bike is the best.

I love to take photos and tell stories. It is a dream and a blessing that I get to do this for a living.

This is just a little bit of my story. I’d love to tell you more, and beyond that – be a part of your story. Please drop me a line at I’d love to hear from you!
