A few weeks ago, my little brother Sauce (real name Ross, but we all call him Sauce) called me to see if I’d be willing to fly back to Michigan. He finally had the ring in hand and was ready to propose to his lovely girlfriend Kelsey. He wanted me to be there as a surprise and to join the celebration, as well as to take some engagement photos. So, I scraped together some frequent flier miles, got a ticket, and flew to freezing cold Michigan. My parents and I arrived in Glen Arbor, along with Kelsey’s family, moments after Sauce had popped the question. It was so fun to be a part of the excitement and to spend time with people I love so much! We had so much fun the next day taking photos near the Sleeping Bear Dunes and snowshoeing along Lake Michigan. A few days later, we strolled around downtown Grand Rapids, taking in the iconic river and bridges as well as warming up at Madcap Coffee. I can’t wait to be a part of your wedding celebration in September, when I get to be a bridesmaid, and I can let my uber talented friend Magnus do all the work! PS Kelsey’s one of a kind ring was designed and made by the amazingly talented Molly Roodvoets of Lena Jewelry.
