In my previous post, I talked about wanting to make pictures that matter. That are part of a story – real people, and their real lives. I have tried to do that in this story.
Kate is my best friend from high school. We were in marching band together (Band Camp – holla!), had lockers right next to each other and had crushes on all the same boys…
Now Kate is a mom of two adorable boys. Jake calls me “Ass-on” and Sam peed on me more than any baby ever has (and also has the most adorable of smiles!) I love watching Kate as a mom – she is the coolest. I mean, who has the patience to explain to a two year old that no, you cannot make pancakes in the microwave – they need to be cooked on the stove. She also made a BIKE WASH! – every toddler’s dream! Erek is a great dad too – a natural teacher, he is always showing the boys new bugs and how do manly things like mow the lawn, go fishing and build stuff.
This is their story – this is where they are at in life right now. I am so grateful to be a part of it and to have them be a part of my story as well. xo.jpg)

Lisa - I LOVE all of these photos! But that last one really captured me for some reason. Great work!
Grace Kreulen - Loved seeing your family. Thanks!
